A shotgun microphone is a type of microphone that is used in film and TV production. Shotgun mics are highly directional,
which means that they can pick up sound from a certain direction while filtering out background noise. These also use either phantom power or batteries

Wireless mics send output signals wirelessly through their built-in transmitters. The transmitter will change the microphone's audio signal into a carrier signal and transmit that wirelessly to the receiver. The receiver will then send this to the sound desk.
