When using cans/coms you have to be totally professional as there may be others on them they are an excellent way of communicating and you only have to whisper to youse them although you have to stay professional and be weary when using them. you may also need to listen out for cues or standbys so you know when your cue is therefore having to reply to standbys so they know you are ready the professional way when a standby cue is announced is reply simply with "(Lx) Standby" or sound or fly cues too.
