Using The Desk:
On the desk you have many different features and tools to help you plot and it is important as a lighting designer to know what they mean and how to use them.

Selecting A Fixture:
To select a certain fixture to use you can either do this using a magic sheet and clicking on the fixture you want to use or you can type it in by putting the numbered address of the fixture into the desk and then selecting (Enter.)

Selecting Multiple Fixtures:
If you would want to select multiple fixtures you would Type (_) (±) (_)
Or you could select channels (_) Thur (_) witch would select every channel between those numbers

Changing The Intensity Of A Fixture:
There is one of two ways you could do this first being the intensity wheel where you can scroll up or down although this can be more awkward to use as you might want a exact numbered intensity where it would be easier to type it in manual so you have the exact number to do this you select the fixture then press (At) and then type the number and then click (Enter)

Creating A Cue:
Cues are important as it is how the show is run so you have to create a cue for each lighting state you use, you do this by clicking (Record) (Cue) (_) and whatever number cue it is. You can also update a cue if needs be where you would click (Update) (Cue) (_).
Changing The Cue Fade Time:
You also may want to change the time the cue would change on as you may want the cue to be a snap (0 Seconds)
To do this you Select (Cue) (_) (Time) (_) (Enter)

Going To A Certain Cue:
To go to a certain cue you select (Go To Cue) (_)

Deleting Cues:
To remove a unwanted cue you can select (Delete) (Cue) (_) (Enter)

Focusing Automated fixtures:
for this you need to select (Focus) on the top then you use the other wheels to change the plan and tilt of a fixture

Changing the colour:
For this you need to select (Colour) and then depending if the fixture supports RGB or CYM you can do subtractive or additive mixing
